Amani P. Mehta

So, Amani is officially seven weeks old this week.  It’s so crazy, time is going by so quickly.  The first three weeks were so hard, I thought I would never get the hang of this whole parenting thing—the sleepless nights, breastfeeding, figuring out how to still live life…  But now that we are into it, it’s gotten much easier, and it’s hard to imagine a moment without Amani.  She is growing day by day, the coolest thing is to now see her smile when we tickle her or laugh with her.  She is also sleeping for 4/5 hour stretches at night which is amazing.  It sort of just happened one day, which made me nervous, but it’s been really nice!  It’s exciting to see what will be next!
